Residents
Our resident meal plans are designed to meet the unique needs of students living in our traditional resident halls, who are required to purchase a meal plan. Our resident plans come with varying amounts of meal swipes to be used primarily in the Bates Dining Hall, and Meal Money, which is a declining balance account similar to a debit card. Each plan also comes with a meal exchange option available at select retail dining locations for one entree, side and beverage option. Multiple resident meal plan options are available for you to choose from based on your dining preferences and needs.

Commuters
Our commuter plans are only available to students who do not live on campus. Our commuter plans are value oriented and designed specifically for our students who may not spend as much time on campus as the resident students. Commuter plans come with meal swipes, Bonus Dollars and the meal exchange option.

One Meal Exchange equals one set meal containing an entrée, a side, and a drink.
Think of a Meal Swipe as your "ticket" to a meal at an event - they do not have a Dollar Value.

What is meal money?
Meal Money is a declining balance account that can be used to purchase items at the BWCC café, Dining Pavilion and you can also pay the door rate @ Bates Dining hall
What is a meal swipe combo @ BWCC Dining Pavilion and BWCC Café ?
Meal Swipe Combos allows you to use 1 Meal swipe to get a complete meal- Combos consist of an Entrée, 2 Sides and a fountain beverage.
What is a 1Card?
Think of this as your campus Wide Credit card and ID- This can be used at several locations on campus including all 3 Dining Locations, Vending Machines, Library, Post office and Laundry- Easily add funds to your 1Card by depositing money on your students account- Information available @ get.cbord.com/slc.
